What I collect, why I collect it, and what I do with it. In plain English.
This policy explains how The Hogsback Project Ltd, trading as AI, Me & You (“we”, “us”, “I”), handles personal information. We are the data controller. Last updated August 2026.
For anything about your personal information, email mickey@aimeandyou.com. It comes straight to me.
When you book a course, a clinic, coaching or the free masterclass. Your name, email address, and anything else you choose to type into the booking form, such as your company, role or a note about your situation.
When you register through LinkedIn. If you register for one of my sessions through a LinkedIn Event, LinkedIn passes me the details you submitted on their form — typically your name, email address, job title and company. LinkedIn’s own handling of your data is governed by their privacy policy, not this one.
When you email me or reply to a follow-up. Your email address and the contents of the message.
When you attend a certification course. The name and email address needed to register you with the certification body, and to issue your exam voucher or assessment attempt.
When you pay. Payments are taken by Stripe. I never see or store your card details.
If you arrive through an affiliate link. The site stores a referral code in your browser for 90 days so the referrer can be credited, and records the fact of the click, the page you landed on and the site you came from. This is not linked to your name unless you go on to book.
I do not sell your information, and I do not pass it to anyone for their own marketing.
To run the business I use a small number of service providers, who process information on my instructions:
Certification is awarded by the certification body, not by me. For SAFe® courses your details are registered with Scaled Agile, Inc. so your exam and membership can be issued. For the Scrum.org exam preparation courses, an assessment attempt is bought on your behalf from Scrum.org, who award the credential directly. Both have their own privacy policies.
Some of these providers are based outside the UK. Where information is transferred internationally, it is protected by the safeguards those providers have in place, such as standard contractual clauses.
This site sets no advertising cookies and runs no analytics or tracking pixels. The only thing stored in your browser is the affiliate referral code described above, held in local storage for 90 days. You can clear it at any time through your browser settings. Third parties you interact with, such as Stripe’s payment pages or LinkedIn, set their own cookies under their own policies.
Booking and enquiry records are kept for as long as needed to deliver the service and answer any follow-up questions, and then for up to two years. Records relating to payments and invoices are kept for six years, as UK tax rules require. If you ask to be removed from the mailing list, I keep a minimal note of that request so I do not contact you again by mistake.
You have the right to ask for a copy of the information I hold about you, to have it corrected, to have it deleted, to object to or restrict how it is used, and to ask for it in a portable format. Email me and I will deal with it within one month.
If you are not happy with how I have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk. I would rather you told me first, so I can put it right.
If this policy changes, the updated version will appear on this page with a new date at the top.
